This comprehensive profile checks for health indicators which can contribute to erectile dysfunction and male impotence. It is estimated that 48% of men experience difficulty in getting or maintaining an erection on at least some occasions. While the majority of the time there are psychological causes for this, it is vital to exclude physical causes as these causes may be due to a serious underlying illness – and can often be treated to reduce the effects of impotency. The main categories of causes are problems with circulation and hormonal. This profile checks for all the major causes of circulatory problems and checks the relevant hormones. Testosterone, SHBG and Prolactin hormone levels, and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. Diabetes can cause circulation problems as well as nerve damage so Glucose and HbA1c levels are included along with a full cholesterol profile. A Prostate Specific Antigen level checks for indications of possible problems with the prostate which can also result in impotence. This test can be done with a finger-prick home test or a phlebotomy sample.

Non-High-Density Lipoprotein (Non-HDL) Cholesterol measures all cholesterol in the blood except for HDL. It includes LDL and other atherogenic lipoproteins, which are associated with cardiovascular risk.
Triglyceride

Total Cholesterol: High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) Ratio compares total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol. A higher ratio indicates a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, while a lower ratio is more favourable.
High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) Percentage
High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) Percentage measures the percentage of HDL cholesterol in the total cholesterol. It helps evaluate cardiovascular risk and overall lipid profile.
Glycated Haemoglobin (HbA1C)
Glycated Haemoglobin (HbA1c) measures the average blood glucose levels over the past 2-3 months. It is used to diagnose and monitor diabetes and assess long-term glucose control.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) regulates thyroid gland activity. Abnormal levels can indicate thyroid disorders, such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. Testing TSH helps assess thyroid function.
Prolactin
Prolactin is a hormone that stimulates breast milk production. Elevated levels can indicate pituitary disorders, such as prolactinomas, or other conditions affecting reproductive health.
Testosterone

Free Testosterone Calculation
Free Testosterone Calculation measures the amount of unbound testosterone in the blood, which is available for use by the body. It helps evaluate testosterone levels in cases of hormonal imbalances.
Total Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
Total Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) measures the overall level of PSA in the blood. Elevated levels can indicate prostate conditions, including prostate cancer, and are used for screening and monitoring.
